Coronaviruspointing out that while the mortality rates due to cancer are 7.33 in the USA, 4.15 in European Union countries, 3.29 in the UK and 1.91 in Southern Cyprus, they remain at 0.04 in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), Savaşan emphasized that the international trust in Northern Cyprus has increased thanks to the success it has achieved in protecting the health of tourists.
In her speech at the meeting, TÜRSAB Health Tourism Specialization President Zeynep Hale thanked Savaşan for his leadership in developing cooperation in the field of health tourism between the two countries.
Hale said that during their stay in the TRNC, they had productive meetings with both the council officials and the President of KITSAB and sector representatives and determined the road map to be followed in the field of health tourism.
